With less than a month to go until tax day you should at least have already made an appointment with your tax prep company. If you have not already filed your taxes and do not think you will be able to do it in time you should file a tax extension as soon as possible. Prepare for your meeting in advance and it really will go quickly, yes you will lose the money you would have made on an appointment but you will gain the peace of mind that your taxes are done. You also will reduce your stress levels by being finished with taxes for another year.
